Trilogy
Phillip, ACT
Trilogy is an impressive residential development in the Australian Capital Territory, featuring three towers that vary in height from 9 to 12 levels, with a spacious podium and two basements connecting the towers. The development comprises 350 residential units and boasts a range of structural features that ensure both comfort and safety for its residents.
To resist lateral loads such as wind and earthquake, the towers are built with a combination of reinforced in situ and precast core walls. The floors are made of post-tension slabs, which provide stability and strength to the building structure.
One of the most notable features of Trilogy is the 25m suspended pool on level 1 of the podium, which offers a stunning view of the surrounding area.
Indesco, as the Principal Engineer for the project, was responsible for a range of services, including structural engineering, post-tension design, shoring design, value engineering, temporary works design, and precast panel shop drawings. The precast panel shop drawings, which comprised 1000 panels, were documented by Indesco for all three precast suppliers involved in the project.
Despite the tight timeline and limited industry resources, Indesco's consistency and clarity in the documentation ensured that all three precast suppliers met the expectations for timing and delivery, resulting in a successful and timely completion of the project.
