ACT Healthy Waterways
The ACT Healthy Waterways (ACTHW) project was a joint initiative of the Commonwealth and Australian Capital Territory government, represented by Procurement and Capital Works (the Territory).
The ACTHW Preliminary Design project was initiated to remediate and construct stormwater drainage and detention infrastructure works in and around six ACT catchments that support the Territory’s Healthy Waterways initiative; Fyshwick, Lower Molonglo, Lake Tuggeranong, West Belconnen, Upper Molonglo & Yarralumla Creek.
The project improves the quality of water throughout our rivers, lakes and waterways, through the construction of stormwater treatment assets including Bioretention systems, ponds, channels and wetlands.
