Evatt Primary School Cycle Path - AUA All Abilities Bike Precinct

Indesco provided pro-bono services for Abilities Unlimited Australia (AUA) to construct a 300m by 3m wide concrete path in Evatt, ACT, as part of the Stage 2 Evatt All Abilities Bike Precinct. The Precinct was designed as a network of graded paths and tracks to help build skills, confidence, and strength in children of all abilities.

The dedicated wide, accessible concrete path was designed to accommodate individuals with varying levels of cycling experience, including those who are inexperienced or use adaptive bikes such as recumbent bikes. The wide nature of the path ensure that riders with different abilities have ample space to manoeuvre, providing a sense of comfort and safety.

Accessibility features incorporated into the path, such as gentle slopes and smooth surfaces, enable individuals with mobility challenges or physical disabilities to navigate the path with ease.
